Nigeria’s Plateau United crashed out of CAF Confederations Cup, after losing 3-0 to Al Khadr in the second leg of the final play-off round.
The Peace Boys went into the second leg at the Martyrs of February Stadium with a comfortable 4-1 lead and needed to prevent the hosts from scoring three goals to win the tie.
The first half ended goalless, but Libyans row back into the second half to get the needed goals, with the last coming in the final minute of the added time.
The Libyans proceed to the Group phase 4-4 on aggregate.
Following the defeat, Plateau United have now failed to reach the lucrative Group phase of the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederations Cup in the same season.
